SAN MATEO, California, June 25, 2024 — Rocketlane raised $24 million in Series B funding to expand its professional-services automation and client-delivery platform. The round was co-led by 8VC, Matrix Partners India and Nexus Venture Partners, bringing the company's reported total funding to $45 million.
The investment supports Rocketlane's shift from a customer-onboarding tool toward a broader operating system for professional-services teams. According to the company's funding announcement, the product brings project work, resources, financial information and client collaboration into one workspace.
Post-sales delivery becomes a connected workflow
Professional-services teams often inherit a promise made during a sale and then coordinate its delivery across spreadsheets, project tools, email and financial systems. Fragmented records make it harder to identify delayed work, understand staffing pressure or give a client a current view of progress.
Rocketlane positions its platform as a replacement for that patchwork. The software is designed to show project status, stakeholders, completed and pending tasks, delayed items and client communications together. A shared workspace can reduce reconciliation work, but predictable delivery still depends on realistic scope, accountable owners and timely decisions.
Areas covered by the platform
- customer onboarding and implementation project plans;
- professional-services automation, staffing and utilisation;
- project governance, risks and delivery visibility;
- client-facing collaboration and status communication;
- financial and operational information used to assess project performance.
The round follows reported customer and revenue growth
Rocketlane said revenue had tripled over the preceding year and that the business served more than 500 customers. It named OpenGov, LivePerson, Fivetran, Personio and Zenoti among recent wins, while the broader customer list included Icertis, Drift, Moveworks and Clari.
Those figures and customer references were supplied by the company. They indicate commercial activity at the time of the round but are not independently audited measures of market share, profitability or outcomes for every deployment. Buyers should assess the platform against their own delivery model and controls.

Capital will widen the product and the team
Rocketlane said the proceeds would support a wider product offering, improvements to the client-delivery experience, hiring and continued investment in its professional-services community. Rao Adavikolanu joined as chief marketing officer, while Brett Jarvis had recently joined as vice president of customer success and experience.
The company also set out plans for AI-assisted project delivery, governance and operations, including automation, forecasting, insights and recommendations. It discussed a new client portal and additional products as upcoming work. These were roadmap statements in June 2024, not a claim that every planned function was already generally available.
AI-focused customers can require deeper implementation
Rocketlane said a growing segment of its customers came from AI software businesses. Such deployments may involve data preparation, model configuration, integration and governance in addition to ordinary software setup. That can make onboarding longer and introduce dependencies shared by the vendor and customer.
A delivery platform can make those dependencies visible, assign tasks and expose delays. It cannot by itself resolve unclear requirements or weak adoption. Professional-services leaders still need an agreed success definition, escalation paths and a disciplined change-control process.
Customer evidence needs operational context
Everstage chief executive Siva Rajamani said the company had accelerated customer wins by 35% while using Rocketlane. OpenGov vice president of professional services Nav Kalra described the product as a modern alternative to legacy PSA tools. These are named customer accounts included in Rocketlane's release and should not be interpreted as universal performance guarantees.
Evaluation should compare time to first value, utilisation, project margin, schedule variance, client satisfaction and rework before and after deployment. Teams should also review integrations, permissions, reporting definitions and the effort required to keep project data current.
