DALLAS – Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx and award-winning screenwriter David Cope headline August’s “Chief Chat.”

“Chief Chat” hosted by Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Azby, senior advisor for the Army and Air Force Exchange Services, gives viewers a live opportunity to interact with celebrities who support the military community.

Cope will discuss his new book, “Aurora,” at 11 a.m. at the center Aug. 2. Foxx will be in the special at 2pm Central on August 23rd to talk about his new vampire slayer comedy “Day Shift.” His upcoming action movie ‘Tin Soldier’, his music career and more.

“Chief Chat” welcomes two Army veterans Drew Anthony and Justin Graber at 11am on August 9th. Anthony and Graber will discuss their play “Enlisted,” which opens Aug. 5 at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood.

Maj. Tom Shuman, a Marine Corps officer, will join the panel at 11 a.m. at the center Aug. 16, giving an exclusive military look at his book “Always Loyal” and how he fought behind the scenes to rescue a former Afghan translator from Kabul. he does. 2021.
