ADX hosts top celebrities and business magnates from expansionary business program by Maven Global Access

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) hosted a panel from Access Abu Dhabi, a Maven Global Access programme, supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), which aims to raise awareness of Abu Dhabi as a destination for organizations to can achieve global expansion. . On this panel, legends of the sport, Patrice Evra and Metta World Pace, along with shark tank Kevin O’Leary stars and tradesmen from the United States.
Access Abu Dhabi representatives were given a tour of the ADX facilities and an explanation of the key role ADX plays in promoting the UAE’s position as an attractive destination for international capital, in line with the Abu Dhabi government’s strategy. The Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) was established on 15 November 2000 by Local Law No. (3) of 2000, which mandates that the market be a legal entity with independent status, assets and management. The Act also provides the ADX with the necessary regulatory and enforcement powers to carry out its duties. On March 17, 2020, ADX changed from a “public entity” to a “public joint-stock company PJSC” under Law No. (8) of 2020.
